Dear Valued Customer,
Please note that from 1st February 2023, SPICTL will update its Export Cut-off receival window as follows:
- Change of cut-off from 24hrs to 12hrs against vessel ETB provided by the terminal.
12hrs Cut-off applies for all container types (full/empty/dry/reefer), the same as general cargo.
This significant change would guarantee the exporters of PNG additional time for the cargo readiness
process (stuffing, documentation, and others.) towards the in-gate of their cargo into SPICTL and, therefore, support exporters to catch the intended vessel.
For special gates in requests beyond cut-off, the process remains the same:
- Requests for receival beyond the (new) 12hrs cut-off will be subject to the terminal’s approval.
- If approved, “Late arrival, after cut-off” will apply as usual at public tariff.
